The Pissis, is the Highest Volcano on Earth (6882m.) and It’s very atractive to climbers from all around the World.
This is an expedition for whose want to have a climb experience totally out from civilization.
The Volcano is located in the southern limit of The Puna, surrounded by others high volcanoes.
We invite you to one of the most attractives expeditions in The Andes.

Expedition date: October 25th to November 08th 2009.

Itinerary

Day 01. Arrive to Catamarca airport. Transport in private vehicles to Fiambalá. Accomodation.
Day 02. Day to rest at the Las Grutas termal baths. Night at hotel.
Day 03. Walking around San Francisco Lagoon zone. Night at camp.
Day  04. Trip by 4WD(Peinado- Paso Internacional- Laguna Verde Chile zone). Night at refugee.
Day 05. Ascent to Cerro Bertrand (5200 mts) Night at camp.
Day 06. Rest and termal baths in Las Grutas. Night at refugee.
Day 07. Transport to Pissis Base Camp.
Day 08. Light trekking around Pissis Base Camp.
Day 09. Ascent to Camp I Pissis. Night at camp.
Day 10. Acclimatization. Night at camp.
Day 11. Ascent to a Campamento II Pissis. Night at camp.
Day 12. Acclimatization. Night at camp.
Day 13. Attempt to summit. Night at camp.
Day 14. Descent to Fiambalá in vehicle. Thermal baths and Dinner. Accomodation at hotel.
Day 15. Transport to San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca. End of our services.
